Carmen’s Italian Ice:
1115 Nelson Street, Rockville– Carmen’s will celebrate National Ice Cream Day by staying open for 24 hours straight, beginning at midnight on Sunday, July 20. The Rockville dessert shop will offer a lineup of special promotions, including a “Stuff Your Stanley” deal, an “Ice Cream for Breakfast” event, giveaways, and other surprises throughout the day and night.

Carmen’s opened in 2001, bringing homemade gourmet Italian Ice to the D.C. region. Known for offering over 60 flavors of Italian Ice, the shop also serves frozen custard, shakes, and a wide range of toppings.
Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee :
7111 Bethesda Lane, Bethesda–
From 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, Dolcezza will celebrate its 21st anniversary by giving away free small scoops of its signature Chocotorta gelato flavor at all of its locations, including its Bethesda Row shop. The giveaway is part of the shop’s celebration of National Ice Cream Day and a thank-you to the community.

Founded in 2004, Dolcezza crafts small-batch gelato daily in its Union Market facility using locally sourced ingredients. The company currently operates six shops in the D.C. area.
Shuga x Ice:
Solaire Social Food Hall, 8200 Dixon Ave, Silver Spring, MD– Shuga x Ice will offer a weekend of specials to celebrate National Ice Cream Day. On Saturday, July 19, guests can participate in a “Fill Your Stanley Cup” deal for $14, which includes up to four scoops in a 30 to 40 oz cup with at least three different flavors. On Sunday, July 20, guests can enjoy a buy one, get one 50 percent off offer on single scoops, along with a limited menu of build-your-own specialty ice cream sandwiches. A featured sundae called the Vimberry Dream, a collaboration with local candied pecan company Pecandy, will also be available. The sundae includes Vimto ice cream, puff puff waffle, condensed milk drizzle, and Pecandy toppings.

100 Gibbs St Unit I, Rockville– Marble Slab Creamery is celebrating National Ice Cream Day with a free small ice cream offer for loyalty members, valid for seven days starting July 20. Loyalty members will also receive surprise offers every Sunday throughout National Ice Cream Month.
