Today, Wednesday, June 25, 2025, Wegmans opens its ninth facility in Maryland in the brand-new Twinbrook Quarter development at 1590 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852.
The new store will open everyday from 6 a.m. to midnight and welcome customers starting at 9 a.m. Over 400 employees will work at the 80,000-square-foot Wegmans shop, which will be run by Jamie Dominick, a 22-year Wegmans veteran and previous manager of the Germantown site.
At Restaurant Foods, Executive Chef Joe Serock will oversee a group of over 70 culinary experts who will provide a broad range of fresh, ready-to-eat selections, such as:

Chef-prepared meals with 20–40 grams of protein and a portion of veggies in each bowl are available at the Signature Bowl Station.

Sushi and poke: A variety of raw, cooked, and vegetable dishes free of glutening components

The store has 12 full-service registers, 17 self-checkout stations, and five more self-checkouts for prepared foods to make shopping easier. There are 672 parking spots spread over two floors (G1 and G2), and the first level has eight EV charging stations. Customers can park for free for two hours.
