with the caption, “DC… What’s Good??”
This move comes after he was released by the Buffalo Bills in March 2025 as a cost-cutting measure. At 36 years old, Miller brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and a proven track record of disrupting opposing offenses to the Commanders’ defense. His career accolades, including two Super Bowl championships and a Super Bowl MVP award, highlight his significant contributions to the teams he has played for.
Von Miller has established himself as one of the most dominant defensive players in the NFL since being drafted second overall by the Denver Broncos in 2011. Known for his explosive pass-rushing skills, Miller quickly made an impact, earning the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year award in 2011. His career with the Broncos spanned from 2011 to 2021, during which he was consistently recognized for his exceptional play, including being named to eight Pro Bowls and receiving First-Team All-Pro honors three times. A career highlight with Denver was his Super Bowl 50 MVP performance in 2016, where he played a pivotal role in the Broncos’ victory.
Midway through the 2021 season, Miller was traded to the Los Angeles Rams, where he continued to demonstrate his impact as a pass rusher, contributing to their Super Bowl LVI championship in 2022. Following his successful stint with the Rams, Miller signed a six-year, $120 million contract with the Buffalo Bills in March 2022. He played for the Bills from 2022 to 2024. Across his career, Miller has amassed 129.5 sacks, 581 total tackles, 27 forced fumbles, and 2 interceptions.
Though Miller has 129.5 career sacks, he has just six in the last two seasons and has not had double digit sack numbers since 2018 when he had 14.5 with the Broncos.
