Officers from Rockville City Police arrived at Maryvale Park, which is situated in the 800 block of First Street, just after 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in response to a complaint of a fight involving several young men. The event was described as a stabbing by the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
A 15-year-old child was assaulted by one person who brandished an edged weapon during the verbal altercation, according to a Rockville Police update. The victim was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment after suffering a non-life-threatening injury.
