In the Fairland area, the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) attempted a traffic stop on a stolen vehicle Thursday and, after a foot pursuit, arrested two individuals.
The MCPD reports that at around 4:29 p.m., officers from the 3rd District tried to pull over a stolen Hyundai close to Old Columbia Pike and Tech Road. The suspects fled as the Hyundai came to a halt close to Fairland Road and Route 29. They were apprehended by authorities following a foot pursuit.
Two suspects were taken to a nearby hospital after suffering minor injuries. Officers and witnesses were unharmed.
