Formerly known as Rockville Town Square, the area has been revitalized and
rebranded as “The Square,”
a dynamic cultural hub and inclusive gathering place for the community. Along with the rebranding, parking policies have been updated, reducing the complimentary parking time from two hours to 90 minutes.
A representative from Morguard explained the change, stating, “We recently adjusted our complimentary 2 hour parking to 90 minutes in response to increased foot traffic after the rebrand and new additions to The Square. The change is intended to improve parking turnover for guests. In addition to offering 90 minutes free, the hourly parking will continue to be low-cost.”
Parking at the complex is facilitated by three garages, each with its own entrances. Garage A can be accessed via Maryland Avenue and Route 355, while Garage B has an entrance off Maryland Avenue. Garage C is accessible from E. Middle Lane and North Washington Street, but it’s designated exclusively for Trader Joe’s shoppers and Fenestra residents.
The parking rates are straightforward: the first 90 minutes are free, with a charge of $1 per additional hour afterward. For stays exceeding eight hours, the daily maximum fee is capped at $20.
