By addressing long-ignored nuisance issues, including as overgrown trees and abandoned cars, Prince George’s County’s new executive has promised to make the county more aesthetically pleasing.
Residents are being urged by Braveboy’s office to report their grievances to the county’s 311 hotline by calling the new project Strike Force 311.
Residents of one neighborhood in Hyattsville claimed that they had been complaining about a property with overgrown weeds and hundreds of tires stacked up for years.
When Braveboy launched the new Strike Force program on Thursday, she stopped to that lot first.
The tires and weeds had been totally removed by Friday.
God be praised. A woman who lives close to the deserted lot told News4 that everything was a disaster there.
It serves as a regrettable reminder every day that occasionally the government simply does not react quickly enough. However, we have declared, “Enough is enough,” under the Braveboy administration, Braveboy stated.
