The Council’s approval today will change D.C. and return the Commanders to our spiritual home. My passion for this team and this city was stoked by memories that I had at RFK, like many other fans. Rekindling that passion for a new generation is now more accessible than ever.
For their leadership and direction during this process, we are immensely appreciative of the Mayor and the Council.
This is a momentous occasion. More than just building a top-notch stadium fit for our players, supporters, and the community is at stake in this endeavor. It aims to restore an important area of our city, provide thousands of jobs, and open up long-term financial advantages for the District. To realize this vision, we are eager to collaborate with our supporters, locals, elected authorities, and community leaders.
