Signage Up At Buffalo Wild Wings GO in Gaithersburg, First of Four Upcoming Montgomery County Locations

Published On:

The first of four new locations in Montgomery County to make this noticeable move is the soon-to-open Buffalo Wild Wings GO location in Gaithersburg, where signage has officially been put.

There is still a lot of inner building work to be done, even though the exterior signage is now in place. As with the other locations, the precise opening date has not yet been decided. Below is a picture of the interior.

The first Buffalo Wild Wings GO (BWWGO) concept was unveiled by Buffalo Wild Wings in Georgia in 2020. This smaller version of the restaurant targets consumers who want a quick and easy dining experience by emphasizing delivery and to-go options. Though it’s still unclear which of the four new stores will open first, the Gaithersburg location is the first to put up its signage.

BWWGO has committed to sites in a number of other parts of the county in addition to Gaithersburg. The Three Points Cycles location at 3231 Spartan Road in Olney, which shuttered on Memorial Day, will be replaced by BWWGO. In the Burtonsville Village Center, another location will open at the former Subway location at 15500B Old Columbia Pike.

In an effort to increase its visibility, BWWGO will be a component of the forthcoming Crossroads at Kensington development, which will be located in Kensington at 10619 Connecticut Avenue (at Plyers Mill Road). All four of these BWWGO locations are anticipated to debut this year, providing convenient dining alternatives to different portions of Montgomery County, though exact opening dates have not yet been disclosed.
