On Tuesday night, the Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) and Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) were called to a stabbing that occurred in Rockville.
Rockville Police Update: Maryvale Park, in the 800 block of First Street, was the scene of an argument involving a group of young guys on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, just after 7:00 p.m. Rockville City Police officers were called to the scene. One person brandished an edged weapon and attacked a 15-year-old minor during the verbal altercation.
The victim was sent to a nearby hospital for treatment after suffering a non-life-threatening injury.
The inquiry is still under progress. Detectives are requesting that anybody who may have seen the event or know who was involved get in touch with the Rockville City Police Department by calling 240-314-8900 or sending an email to [email protected].
At 7:53 p.m., MCPD sent out the following incident alert: Due to a stabbing incident, Rockville City Police Department and 1st District officers have been sent to the 800 block of First Street.
