The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a stabbing that occurred Friday night in Calverton.
MCPD issued the following incident alert at 8:51pm: “MCPD is investigating a stabbing in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road. Officers have secured the area and are looking for the suspect. More information will be released as it becomes available.”
MCPD provided the following update at 9:43pm:
“On Friday, June 13, 2025, at approximately 8:31 p.m., Montgomery County Police – 3rd District officers and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. After a brief search, officers located an adult male suspect and took him into custody. This is an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.”
