The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a homicide on the 600 block of Blandford St. in Rockville on Saturday morning.
Per MCPD at 9:17am Saturday:
“MCPD is investigating a homicide in the 600 block of Blandford Street in Rockville. The scene is secured. More information will be released as it becomes available.”

separate incident
in the same area (600 block of Blandford St.) on June 11th, police responded to an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
During the June 11 investigation, a 17-year-old suspect from Lanham, Maryland was identified. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after the incident. Detectives from the Rockville City Police Department assumed the criminal investigation, recovered a privately made firearm (PMF) also known as a “ghost gun” and other evidence related to the incident.
