A late complaint of an armed robbery that took place early on Saturday, July 5, 2025, is being looked into by the Takoma Park Police Department.
The victim was waiting at a bus stop in front of the Sunoco gas station, which is situated in the 6900 block of New Hampshire Avenue, when they were robbed at gunpoint at around 4:30 in the morning, according to Takoma Park Police. Around 4:40 p.m. that same day, the incident was reported.
The victim claims that two unidentified suspects approached him at the bus stop. The first suspect was described as a slim-built Black man wearing slippers, green shorts with blue stripes, and no top. The second suspect was described as a Black woman with long hair, a slim physique, and a white shirt.
According to the victim, the male suspect first asked him if he had any food before moving on to inquire about his financial situation. When the victim said he didn’t, the male suspect repeated the query while brandishing a black revolver. The victim did as instructed. Following that, both suspects made their way on foot in the direction of the U-Haul facility located in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
