Today, Sunday, August 17, is the official launch of Ah haan by Bangkok Garden, the eagerly awaited new full-service Thai restaurant in Gaithersburg. The restaurant is situated where Good Fortune Cafe used to be at 237 Kentlands Blvd.
Ah haan by Bangkok Garden will be giving 20% off all orders during its first week of operation, which runs from August 17 to August 24, in honor of the grand opening. On Sunday, the restaurant will open to the public at 11 a.m.
The popular Bangkok Garden, a MoCo family-run establishment that has been servicing the neighborhood since 1984, has a sister restaurant called Ah Haan. After 37 years of service in Bethesda, the original Bangkok Garden has a Rockville outpost to carry on its heritage. With the owners vowing to revive some of the original, cherished dishes from the previous Bangkok Garden menu, the new restaurant is anticipated to be a welcome addition to Kentlands’ dining scene.
