to share this exciting news and also announced his upcoming book titled “Hidden History.” In his post, he expressed gratitude, saying, “I can’t be more grateful for these blessings and to all of you who made it possible. I promise to continue the work as best as I can.”
Widely recognized as the “Gen Z Historian,” Greene has gained fame for his impactful educational content on social media, where he delves into “hidden history” and social justice topics. His work has garnered millions of views and earned him both an Emmy nomination and a Peabody Award. Greene’s prominence also stems from his tenure as the first Black student body president at Yale University. Since then, he has become a sought-after author, speaker, and consultant on subjects such as Gen Z and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), collaborating with notable organizations including National Geographic and the White House.
A Germantown native, Greene was born at Holy Cross Hospital and attended Daly Elementary School and Fox Chapel Elementary School before moving on to Neelsville Middle School, all located in Germantown. He later attended Poolesville High School before making history at Yale University.
Greene has shared that the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington, particularly the Germantown branch, played a significant role in his upbringing. He attended almost daily after school and participated in all their summer camps. Today, he is a passionate advocate for the program, acknowledging its positive impact on his life.
