Actor Jessie T. Usher, widely recognized for his captivating performances as Reggie Franklin/A-Train in Amazon Prime Video’s hit series “The Boys” and as Cam Calloway in Starz’s “Survivor’s Remorse,” is a Montgomery County native.
Born in Silver Spring and having spent his childhood in the area, Usher’s passion for acting ignited at a young age, reportedly inspired by his older sister’s foray into television commercials. This early spark led to his own initial foray into the world of on-screen work with a memorable Oscar Mayer commercial.
Recognizing his burgeoning talent and ambition, Usher’s family made the pivotal decision to relocate from Maryland to Los Angeles in 2003, a move that paved the way for him to fully pursue his acting dreams.
