Because of his fast thinking and commitment to customer safety during a recent storm, a Silver Spring station manager for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) has gone viral on social media (see the video below).
After heavy rain caused parts of the station to flood, the manager went above and above to help passengers during the crisis last month. After Metro posted a video showcasing the manager’s actions, the touching tale went viral. The title of the post is “Be kind in a world where you can be anything.”
The article claims that the station manager acted quickly to assist patrons in navigating the possibly slick and damp floors. The Metro facilities team was on the scene, working rapidly to clear up the water as the manager was busy helping others. With the words, “We’re here for you rain, sleet, or snow,” the post, which received thousands of likes and shares, commended the anonymous manager’s dedication.
