Man Seriously Injured After 8th-Floor Fall

On Thursday, August 14, shortly after midnight, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) arrived at 4709 Montgomery Lane in Bethesda in response to a complaint of a fall victim who had been hurt.

Crews discovered an adult male who had fallen from the eighth level onto a third-story roof, according to MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos. To treat, stabilize, and safely drop the patient to the ground, the Technical Rescue Team and advanced life support units with whole blood were dispatched to the location. He had severe, potentially fatal injuries and was subsequently sent to a nearby trauma center.
