On Monday, August 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., the Pike District Pop-Up Park in North Bethesda will offer a free community concert with Anna Wilson, a participant on America’s Got Talent.

The event celebrates Wilson s recent success on the national stage and offers a chance for local fans to see her perform live. Food trucks and family-friendly events are also available to attendees as part of the evening’s celebrations.

After graduating from Gaithersburg High School in 2022, Anna pursued her musical studies at Pittsburgh’s Duquesne University School of Music.

When Anna Wilson’s mother surreptitiously registered her to try out for America’s Got Talent, her journey to national fame recently took an unexpected detour. Anna, who thought she was going to a VIP experience, was taken by surprise on stage and proceeded to audition. A sudden turn of events during her performance enthralled the judges and crowd.

Performers of various ages and skill levels, from comedy and variety acts to singing and dancing, are included on America’s Got Talent, which debuted in 2006. A celebrity panel consisting of Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Mel B presently judges the contestants; public voting is crucial in deciding who advances.
