La Vina Mexican Grill, located at 749 S. Frederick Ave. in Gaithersburg, will permanently close its doors on Sunday, June 29th.
For the past eight years, La Vi a has been a vibrant part of the community, occupying the space once home to Alicia s Grill at the Walnut Hill shopping center.
After deciding not to renew the lease, the restaurant confirmed its impending closure in a phone call Wednesday evening. To mark the occasion, La Vi a will be offering specials on its final day, including, 2-for-$5 tacos, Buy one, get one free drinks at the bar, and a raffle during the last hour featuring bottles from the bar. The restaurant will be open from 11am until 9pm on Sunday.
