For the second time this week, former President Joe Biden—who is well-known for his love of ice cream—has been sighted entering a Baskin Robbins restaurant in Montgomery County, Maryland. Both locals and the media have taken notice of the informal stops, which are being made this time near Downtown Bethesda (4905 Cordell Ave.).
The former president paid an unexpected visit to the Baskin-Robbins in Kensington on Monday. He reportedly ordered a chocolate milkshake and a double scoop of chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Additionally, he spent time taking selfies with employees, which one employee called an honor.
Following his initial visit, Biden was spotted again on Friday morning, this time at the downtown Bethesda Dunkin’ /Baskin-Robbins on Cordell Avenue. We don’t yet know the specifics of his order in the Bethesda store, but according to an observer, he seemed to have a milkshake and a cup of ice cream once more.
The former president, who has been regularly pictured savoring the frozen delicacy during his political career, is continuing a long-standing custom by making two trips to local ice cream shops this week.
