On Wednesday, July 30, Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins will celebrate the grand opening of their newest combo restaurant located at 12106 Georgia Ave. in Wheaton-Glenmont. The store is situated next to Popeyes and on the same block as Trippy’s Tacos and Seafood in the Buff, in the location that was formerly occupied by $2.49 Cleaners.Giveaways, family-friendly activities, and $1.99 ice cream scoops will all be part of the event. Dunkin claims that the 2,342-square-foot eatery, which is open every day from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., employs about 15 staff members.

Visitors can enjoy $1.99 ice cream scoops from 5:00 p.m. until the event’s conclusion at 7:00 p.m. In addition, there will be a Dunkin’ mascot, Sprinkles, a face painter, a balloon artist, and a Dunkin’ prize wheel with goodies bearing the Dunkin’ logo.
