A vehicle ran off the road into the woods in a single-vehicle collision on the ramp leading from Colesville Road to the Outer Loop of I-495 on Friday morning, prompting Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services (MCFRS) to respond.The trapped driver was rescued and taken away with severe injuries, said Pete Piringer, Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS. Some lanes remained blocked during the rescue, and the ramp was closed.
