The community is coming together to support the family of Vincent Rizzo, a motorcyclist who lost his life in a catastrophic crash at the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Newport Mill Road in the Wheaton-Glenmont region on Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
Vincent was seriously hurt in the collision and passed away on June 20 at 11:24 a.m., according to a GoFundMe set up by his cousin, Imron Goody Srigatesook. His age was thirty-six.
Vincent is regarded as a kind father, brother, son, and companion. In addition to his fiancée and her son, he leaves behind his aging mother, older sister, 16-year-old child, and 3-year-old niece. According to the fundraiser, Vincent’s family had to pay for substantial medical and transportation costs, including hospital transfers by ambulance and helicopter, because he was newly unemployed and uninsured at the time of the collision.
According to Srigatesook, who is in charge of funeral planning, the family intends to have a small ceremony in a church and a temple. To assist with these costs, donations are being accepted.
