On Saturday, July 12th, Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm will host this free event rain or shine, showcasing the City’s emphasis on participation above competitiveness.

The SportsFest 3K Run Fundraiser, a community event that supports the City Youth and Teen Sports Programs, begins the day at 8 a.m. A City of Gaithersburg Sports T-shirt will be given to every registered participant who signed up by June 16th; extra shirts will be given out based on availability.

After the run, there will be a brief celebration to kick off the event before the free sports challenge stations open from 9 to 11 AM. Participants can put their abilities to the test in:

  • Soccer
  • Football
  • Baseball
  • Track & Field
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Inflatable Obstacle Course

Stations will be set up inside the Activity Center and on the front field. While supplies last, participants who successfully complete the tasks will get t-shirts and prizes.
