Last month we let you know that Harris Teeter, located at 11845 Old Georgetown Rd. in North Bethesda, is set to
close permanently
. The store has recently been offering significant discounts (50%) to its customers, and now much of the selection of items is gone (photos below).
According to an
email sent to customers
, the Harris Teeter at North Bethesda Center will close “on or before July 20, 2025.” The store currently operates with the following hours: 6 am-11 pm, according to the Harris Teeter website.
Shoppers can take advantage of 50% off on a wide range of products, including frozen goods, hair care items, greeting cards, cosmetics, and more, but there is not much left. A replacement tenant has not been announced yet. The full email from Harris Teeter can be seen below:

Our VIC card records indicate that you have shopped at the North Bethesda Center Harris Teeter located at 11845 Old Georgetown Rd., Bethesda, Md. After careful consideration, we have decided to close this location. The store closing date will be on or before July 20, 2025.
