Accidental Firearm Discharge at Rockville Shooting Range Sends One to Hospital

In response to a report of an unintentional firearm discharge on Sunday afternoon, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) arrived at Gilbert Indoor Range, located at 14600 Rothgeb Drive, off East Gude Drive in Rockville.

One adult was sent to a nearby hospital with priority 1 trauma after suffering severe injuries, according to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer. ALS703, A703, EMS704, EMS703, and PE703 were among the several units sent to the scene.
