Ten-year-old Tyron Colbert Jr. was shot dead in Salisbury one year ago. Maryland State Police are still looking into the incident and are offering a $25,000 prize for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the shooter.
The FBI, the Maryland Department of State Police, and Crime Solvers of the Eastern Shore are offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information that results in the arrest and conviction of the person guilty for Colbert’s murder, according to a news release.
On August 5, at around 10:30 p.m., Salisbury Police Department officers responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a reported shooting at a property located in the 200 block of Clay Street in Salisbury. The victim, subsequently identified as Colbert, was discovered by responding cops with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. At the time of the shooting, police think he was inside the house with his mother and two other small children.
The Salisbury City Police Department is assisting the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit, which is in charge of the investigation. As of right moment, no suspect description has been identified.
