The Regency Centers leasing website states that Charley’s Cheesesteaks & Wings is getting ready to launch at the Woodmoor Shopping Center. The new eatery will replace the shuttered UPS Store at 10121 Colesville Road, between the well-liked Woodmoor Pastry Shop and Bento Express. It will also add to the varied selection of dining options in the well-liked center, which also has the recently opened Nash & Smashed, Santucci’s Deli, and other eateries.
Charley’s has a devoted fanbase and has experienced significant growth in recent years because to its famous Philly cheesesteaks, which are crafted with premium steak, freshly grilled veggies, and melted cheese on a toasted bread. The entire Charley’s experience, including their well-known wings and an assortment of gourmet fries and lemonades, will be available at this new site.
Beginning as a modest cheesesteak restaurant close to Ohio State University in 1986, Charley’s has a lengthy history. Since then, it has expanded into a worldwide franchise, but its dedication to providing high-quality, made-to-order food has not changed. A crucial component of the brand’s expansion has been the addition of a wings menu, and Silver Spring locals will soon be able to experience both beloved dishes in one place.
The restaurant may serve as a lunch option for Blair High School students across the street during the upcoming 2025–2026 school year, though no formal grand opening date or timetable has been announced as of yet.
