California Fish Grill has had its liquor license hearing with Montgomery County ABS back in May, and coming soon signs were posted in the spring. It will be situated in the same shopping center in Rockville as Tate, which opened its doors in January. California Fish Grill is a counter-service restaurant that was founded in 1998 with an emphasis on offering reasonably priced, environmentally friendly seafood alternatives. Coastal tacos, hand-battered seafood meals, chowder, salads, and plant-based options are among the menu’s varied selections, which are known for their grilled seafood assortment.
As part of its commitment to sustainability, the restaurant serves fish that has been Eco-Certified by outside groups or named Best Choice or Good Alternative by the Monterey Bay Aquarium fish Watch program. In order to ensure that future generations can continue to enjoy premium seafood for many years to come, CFG only purchases its seafood from respectable fisheries and farms that place a high priority on ecosystem health.
