Maryland’s Team Senshi Brings Home 15 Medals from National Karate Tournament

At the 2025 USA National Karate Championships, which took place in Fort Worth, Texas, from July 9–13, Montgomery County-based Team Senshi Karate won an astounding 15 national medals, including 3 gold, 8 silver, and 4 bronze. The competition, which drew more than 3,000 elite athletes from all around the nation, featured only one Maryland team. According to the press release, Team Senshi Karate created history this summer by being the only Maryland team to participate in the highly regarded 2025 USA National Karate Championships, which took place on July 9–13 in Fort Worth, Texas. More than 3,000 of the best athletes in the country competed in this elite event; many of them are competing for positions on Team USA, the World Championships squad, and even future Olympic rosters.
