According to the Cape Gazette, Dylan Hoffman, 20, of Chevy Chase, Maryland, was taken into custody by Dewey Beach police on suspicion of having cocaine and a forged identification document.

When they arrived, they came upon a male suspect who tried to escape on foot. After a brief foot pursuit, Hoffman was apprehended without any additional incidents. Later, he was taken to the local police force.
According to the Cape Gazette, officers found a phony identification document and 7.4 grams of cocaine in Hoffman’s hands.
