George Njoroge, 29, was listed as missing by the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) on June 27.
A public appeal for help in finding Njoroge was made after he was last seen on the morning of Wednesday, June 25, close to the 900 block of Windmill Terrace in Silver Spring. Sadly, Njoroge was later discovered dead.
Funeral costs have been covered by a GoFundMeto that his family has set up. “I want to thank everyone who took the time to share my post regarding my cousin George,” a family member wrote. Unfortunately, we discovered him dead. The funeral is scheduled for the end of this week, and our community is doing everything we can to cover it. I’m sorry for the last-minute notice, but could you kindly help me give his parents everything you can to help George? I want to thank you again and wish you all peace and prosperity.
