Through its BankOn Rockville initiative, the City of Rockville is providing a free online four-part series of workshops on financial empowerment in July with the goal of assisting locals in developing better money management techniques and becoming ready for financial security.
According to the City of Rockville, as part of the BankOn Rockville initiative, the city is providing a free four-part financial empowerment series in July to assist citizens in improving their money management abilities and getting ready for future financial objectives.
An initiative called BankOn gives citizens with low to moderate incomes access to safe and reasonably priced bank accounts, improves their financial capacity, and offers more avenues for achieving economic independence.Every workshop will be place digitally between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.
Among the subjects are:
- Tuesday, July 8: Banking.
- Thursday, July 10: Budgeting Basics and Understanding Credit.
- Tuesday, July 22: Budgeting During a Crisis.
- Thursday, July 24: Becoming a Homeowner.
