June Casino Revenue Slips Across Maryland, Education Fund Sees Decrease

In June 2025, the combined income from slot machines and table games at Maryland’s six casinos was $160,668,545. In comparison to June 2024, the statewide total decreased by $2,245,887 (-1.4%).According to Maryland Lottery and Gaming, the state received $68,544,763 in casino gaming contributions in June 2025, a $1,297,932 (-1.9%) drop from June 2024. Contributions to the Education Trust Fund totaled $49,415,816 in June 2025, a $954,027 (-1.9%) drop from June 2024. Revenues from casino gaming also assist Maryland’s horse racing industry, small, minority, and women-owned businesses, as well as the communities and jurisdictions where the casinos are situated.

Slot machines and table games are available in the six privately held casinos in Maryland: Prince George’s County’s MGM National Harbor; Anne Arundel County’s Live! Casino & Hotel; Baltimore City’s Horseshoe Casino; Worcester County’s Ocean Downs Casino; Cecil County’s Hollywood Casino Perryville; and Allegany County’s Rocky Gap Casino Resort.

In June 2025, MGM National Harbor ($67,166,662) had 2,272 slot machines and 208 table games, a $984,830 (-1.4%) drop from June 2024.

In June 2025, Live! Casino & Hotel (3,826 slot machines, 179 table games) made $58.956,143, which was $1,442,896 (-2.4%) less than in June 2024.

In June 2025, Horseshoe Casino ($14,223,686) had 1,359 slot machines and 115 table games, up $110,970 (0.8%) from June 2024.

In June 2025, Ocean Downs Casino (891 slot machines, 19 table games) made $8,484,525, up $348,663 (4.3%) over June 2024.

In June 2025, Hollywood Casino (734 slot machines, 23 table games) made $7,243,207, which was $279,795 (-3.7%) less than in June 2024.

In June 2025, Rocky Gap Casino ($4,594,322) had 642 slot machines and 12 table games, up $2,000 (0.04%) from June 2024.
