On Monday afternoon, the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) and Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) were called to a pedestrian collision in Redland that resulted in death.
At 12:29 p.m., MCPD reported that they were on the scene of a pedestrian collision that killed an adult female at around 12:05 p.m. in the vicinity of Applewood Ln. and Muncaster Mill Rd. The driver was still present.
At Muncaster Road, Heatherford Court, and Stacey Court, Muncaster Mill Road is closed.It is recommended that drivers look for a different route. Anticipate delays.
Investigations are ongoing into a separate deadly pedestrian collision that happened on Sunday, July 6, 2025, close to the intersection of Veirs Mill Road and Galt Avenue in Wheaton.
