More details about a homicide that took place in the 3300 block of N. Leisure World Blvd. have been made public by the Montgomery County Police Department.
At at 6:09 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025, Montgomery County Department of Police—4th District officers and Fire Rescue personnel—arrived at the scene in response to a complaint of a person experiencing cardiac arrest, according to MCPD. Officers found an adult female who had been declared dead at the site.
To ascertain the official cause and manner of death, an autopsy will be performed at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore after the deceased is taken there.There is now an adult male in custody. The community is not under danger, and this is a singular occurrence. The investigation is still in progress.
After the next of kin have been properly notified, a news release will be issued as soon as additional details, including the deceased’s identity, become available.
