The original ZiZa Kabob restaurant, located at 7351 Assateague Dr. in Jessup, signed on to open a second store in the Twinbrook Quarter development, which includes the new Wegmansin Rockville, as we informed you in October. The eatery has now obtained a $450,000 permit to start interior development.
According to earlier information, ZiZa Kabob plans to open in late 2025. The eatery is connected to Kabul Grill and Maiwand Grill in Baltimore. We’re thrilled to present Ziza Kabob, your new favorite place for real Afghan food, earlier this year! We are excited to give you delectable, flame-grilled kabobs, hearty stews, and tasty rice dishes that are all prepared with love and tradition when we open at 1675 Chapman Avenue, Rockville, MD, close to the new Wegmans, in late 2025.

Terra Gaucha, a genuine Churrascaria or Brazilian steakhouse, Genki Wagyu House, and Molly Tea have all signed on at Twinbrook Quarter, and ZiZa Kabob will be joining them. Molly Tea and Genki Wagyu House will be situated on the intersection of Festival Street and Rockville Pike, while Terra Gaucha will be situated off of Rockville Pike at the intersection of Festival St. and Chapman Ave.
