A woman from Cecil County visited a nearby food store and came away with far more than she had expected. You could argue that she had a lot of dollars and a lot of greens when she left the grocery store. More appropriately, though, she left the store with a $1 million Lucky 777 scratch-off prize.
The ticket that won the top prize was bought at Acme Markets, which is situated at 101 Big Elk Mall in Elkton. She frequently purchases lottery tickets when grocery shopping, so she stopped at the vending machine before heading to the aisles. She purchased her ticket and, while still in the store, took a time to scratch it. She revealed a black seven for a $1 million pay day when she reached the very bottom row of the ticket.
She remarked, “I remained composed and called my husband.” In order to avoid drawing attention to herself, the winner made sure to maintain her composure.
