On June 30, the first Buc-ee’s in Virginia will open at 838 Friedens Church Road in Mount Crawford, Virginia. It will be situated close to Harrisonburg, Virginia, at the Interstate 81 exit 240 intersection. The event will begin with a ribbon cutting at 10 AM, followed by live music, free samples, and giveaways. Fans are expected to camp out for the 6 AM opening.

In the upcoming years, plans are being made for four locations throughout Virginia. Originally scheduled for 2023, one new Virginia location in New Kent County has been rescheduled for 2027. Despite rumors of a Buc-ee’s near Hagerstown on the I 81 corridor, the firm currently has no intentions for that location, despite the fact that many people expect this growth will eventually reach Maryland.

The drive times to the new Buc-ee’s, which is now the nearest place for many, were given by a reader:

Washington, DC: two hoursRichmond, Virginia: two hoursMaryland’s Baltimore: 2.25 hours4.25 hours in Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaPennsylvania: 4.5 hoursNew York, New York: 5.25;Boston, Massachusetts: eight hours

Buc-ee’s Rockingham County will have 120 fueling stations and cover 74,000 square feet, according to the company. The menu will include favorites like jerky, fresh pastries, Beaver Nuggets, kolaches, homemade fudge, and Texas BBQ. In addition to award-winning toilets, reasonably priced gas, high-quality items, and the exceptional service that has won over millions of Southerners for over 40 years, visitors can anticipate thousands of snack, meal, and drink options.

Plans for a second Buc-ee’s store in Stafford County, Virginia, which is 52 miles from Bethesda, Maryland, are also underway. Stafford County is located in Northern Virginia. In order to build a sizable fuel and retail complex off I-95, the firm has legally requested zoning amendments for about 35 acres, according to Potomac Local. The proposed complex, located immediately east of I-95 Exit 140 at the intersection of Courthouse Road (Route 630) and Austin Ridge Drive, will have a 74,000-square-foot convenience store and petrol station with 120 fuel pumps and space for 24 more EV charging stations.
