The Tot Space, which debuted last summer at 1231A Rockville Pike, has declared that it will be switching to a dynamic mobile model and closing its permanent site. The Tot Space is holding one more Open Play Day to honor the community that has developed over the years and to mark the closing of the actual studio. The time of this unique event is set for Saturday, June 28 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.
Over the past year, the Tot Space has become a beloved center for physical enrichment programs, offering a setting where sports, music, movement, and creative play have come together to promote development and happiness in preschoolers and early learners. Increasing overhead costs have made it difficult to continue sustaining the current premises, according to a social media post.
The Tot Space will visit preschools and early learning facilities throughout the area in this exciting new mobile phase, giving more kids the chance to enjoy its engaging activities and lively energy. We very regret to inform you that The Tot Space will be closing its physical location; yet, this is not a farewell; rather, it is a fresh beginning. Although it is difficult to continue in our current space due to rising overhead costs, the mission endures.
We are thrilled to share that we have switched to a mobile model, which will allow us to deliver our renowned physical enrichment programs—movement, sports, music, and more—directly to preschools and early learning facilities around the region. Just on the go, but with the same passion and enthusiasm!
This Saturday, June 28 from 9:30 AM to noon, we invite you to our studio for our final Open Play Day. Together, let’s celebrate the happiness, camaraderie, and community we have created.
Even though this is a stop, it’s not the end, and we are incredibly thankful for every family that has entered our doors. When the time is appropriate, we intend to reopen our play area stronger than before.
