We’ve received notes from a number of people about a collision that has closed southbound I-270. Pete Piringer, a spokesman for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS), said the crash happened at Democracy Blvd. at the southbound I-270 spur. In order to allow cars to pass, crews are trying to open at least one lane.
Update: A few lanes are now open again.
