The multistateCash4Lifegame helped a Maryland Lottery player win the prize of a lifetime Friday night. The second-tier winning ticket was sold at Wegmans in Lanham. The player with the winning ticket from the June 18 drawing is the twelfth player since the game’s launch in Maryland in 2016 and the first to win a second-tier $1,000 weekly for life Cash4Life award in Maryland in 2025.
The lottery will give the Prince George’s County shop, located at 9001 McHugh Drive, a $2,500 bonus for selling the ticket. The winner has the option of receiving $1 million in cash (before taxes) or a $1,000 weekly annuity for life, paid in $52,000 annual installments. The winning numbers on your ticket are 17, 26, 30, 47, and 57; the Cash Ball was 4. Although our winner did not match the Cash Ball, they did match the first five numbers.
In Maryland, a second-tier winning Cash4Life ticket was last sold on December 31. That award was claimed by a man from Harford County. In January of 2016, the Cash4Life game was introduced by the Maryland Lottery. Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Tennessee are among the ten states that take part.
