The location of J. Chow’s, which closed in December 2023, has been replaced by Subway in Westfield Montgomery Mall.

With signs predicting an autumn opening, Wetzel’s Pretzels is currently under development. The well-known snack restaurant is well-known for its Pizza Bitz, pretzel-wrapped Wetzel Dogs, and hand-rolled pretzels, among other things. Additionally, Wetzel’s is scheduled to open in Westfield Wheaton.
Soup Dumplings from Nan XiangNext to Shake Shack, in the former Urban Plates location, will launch this Michelin-starred New York eatery. In addition to its well-known Shanghainese dim sum, Nan Xiang serves a wide variety of cold meals, noodles, rice plates, soup dumplings, sampler sets, and desserts including Ube Red Bean Bao.
A Japanese-Thai idea known as Shiki Fusion emphasizes fine seafood, organic plants, and expensive spices. It will open across from the AMC Theatres, above Nan Xiang.
