Metro Service Information for Juneteenth, Thursday, June 19

In recognition of Juneteenth on Thursday, June 19, Metrorail will open at 5 a.m. and close at midnight, operating on

Saturday service levels

Metrobus will run

Saturday Supplemental service

, to provide additional buses beyond the typical weekend schedule but less than a normal weekday. MetroAccess customers may make a reservation to travel on the holiday; however, pre-scheduled subscription trips will be canceled.

Metrorail


Hours: 5 a.m. – midnight


Fares: Normal weekday fares will be in effect, with $2.25 – $2.50 late-night fares after 9:30 p.m.


Parking: Free at all Metro-owned garages and lots.



Metrobus


Hours: Schedules vary by route, check

Service: Metrobus will operate on a
