The Charmery has closed its Chevy Chase location approximately two years after opening at 8551 Connecticut Avenue, Suite 202. The shop was the Baltimore-based ice cream company’s first location in Montgomery County and its first expansion into the Washington, D.C. area.
The Chevy Chase store opened in June 2023 with a grand opening event that featured a special flavor, Fitzgerald’s Rickey, inspired by author F. Scott Fitzgerald, who is buried in Rockville.

. Known for its rotating seasonal offerings and weekly limited-release flavors, the company has received recognition for its creative approach to ice cream.
