AH’HAAN by Bangkok Garden, located at 237 Kentlands Blvd in Gaithersburg, is now aiming for a summer 2025 opening. The upcoming restaurant will be taking the space that was previously home to
Good Fortune Cafe
for nearly thirty years.
The restaurant has an upcoming hearing with Montgomery County’s ABS for a “New Class B, Beer, Wine & Liquor License, On-Sale Only” on July 3rd and looks to open later this summer. The full-service Thai establishment aims to bring back some of the beloved original dishes from the iconic Bangkok Garden, which served the Bethesda community for an impressive 37 years.
AH’HAAN will feature a full bar and shared with us that they’re “committed to providing a unique dining experience.” One of the standout offerings will be an unlimited brunch that will include lychee and passionfruit mimosas, paired with an array of innovative Thai brunch dishes. Guests can look forward to specialties such as lobster khao soy eggs Benedict and pandan waffles, showcasing a creative twist on traditional flavors.
Currently, Bangkok Garden operates in Wintergreen Plaza (Rockville, MD) and also has a location in Pasadena, MD.
