64-Year-Old Maryland Woman Charged With Impersonating Officer, Assault

Following an alleged argument with a 19-year-old woman, Maryland State Police arrested a 64-year-old Oakland, Maryland lady for second-degree assault and impersonating a police officer.

Police said the accused is a 64-year-old Oakland, Maryland resident named Kimberly Dee Trickett. Trickett faces charges of second-degree assault and police impersonation. Troops from the Maryland State Police McHenry Barrack arrived at the 19000 block of Garrett Highway at around 10 a.m. on August 14 in response to reports of an attack. The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was driving on Garrett Highway when she pulled out in front of another car, which was later identified as being driven by Trickett, according to the preliminary inquiry.

After the victim pulled into a grocery store parking lot, Trickett trailed behind and got close to the victim’s car. Trickett and the victim got into a physical struggle before Trickett pressed a badge against the victim’s driver-side window. After that, Trickett left the area. The investigation is still in progress.
