During the workweek, a man from Montgomery County puts in a lot of effort by using heavy machinery all day. But his weekends are a time for enjoyment. At this point, he focuses on his favorite pastime, Maryland Lottery scratch-offs. He bought a Cash to Go ticket on July 5 and won a $50,000 top prize via scratching.
I still find it hard to believe what occurred. The resident of Silver Spring said, “I shouldn’t be here.” He informed lottery officials that he had already won $50,000 nearly ten years prior. The odds are so slim that it won’t happen once, but what if it does?
Since he has recently experienced success with the $5 game, our winner chose Cash to Go when he bought his fortunate ticket from a 7-Eleven in Takoma Park. He stayed still for a few minutes after he had finished scratching the ticket.
I was immediately aware that it was real, but I simply couldn’t comprehend how that could be.
In November 2024, Cash to Go tickets arrived on store shelves. Six of the seven $50,000 top prizes that were awarded during the game’s launch have since been claimed.
