We informed you back in January that Bartaco has agreed to open its first restaurant in Maryland at 11886 Grand Park Ave. in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose. According to Maryland Newsletters, the eatery has begun renovations after receiving a permit worth $1.12 million. More images below, provided by if@YaoFomoon on Instagram.
The location where Nada had stood, which closed last September after almost eight years, will now be occupied by Bartaco. We announced last week that the restaurant’s liquor licensing hearing, which was originally set for August 21, has been rescheduled until October 2.
Bartaco has locations in Virginia (Ballston, Mosaic, Reston) and Washington, DC (Mt. Vernon and The Wharf) that are close by. The beach cultures of southern California, Uruguay, and Brazil served as inspiration for the restaurant. We provide elegant street food in a laid-back setting with a coastal theme. We serve beer straight from the bottle, creative drinks, and freshly squeezed juices. Bartaco makes for a memorable experience and conjures a trip to a chic beach resort.
